Will do. Once the forums are upped and the new look is in place you can get a taste for the new feel and work from that maybe. Maybe even work with Crazy? The stuff he's designing right now for the new forum look has a distinct feel to it.

    Upgrade complete!

Took longer than expected (about 5 hours.) My first upgrade happened at the same time that our host was performing the nightly back up, so shit exploded.

    WHAT'S GOOD:
    • We are on the latest version of Xenforo (1.2.2).
    • XenPorta has been upgraded. This is what gives us our fancy sidebars.
    • I've setup a "Similar Threads" plugin to prevent duplication of subjects.
    • @CrazyKillerCat 's graphics have been implemented in the home/forum slider and under everyones avatars in the form of new user ribbons.
    • I've re-added the shoutbox to the main forum body and changed the css to make it look more integrated into the page.
    • A new text editor based on TinyMCE has been setup which is much more current looking than the old editor. It is much faster and handles smiles in a much cleaner fashion.
    • The site should now be more responsive-able(?). May need a bit of tweaking here.
    • Now over the main menu, you will see alert bubbles indicating how many threads you haven't read in that particular subforum. You can get rid of these by clicking "Mark Forums Read" on the top left menu of this very forum. Give me feedback on this feature please.

    WHAT'S BAD:

    • Our Recent Threads sidebar got hosed and no longer allows me to have different filters to narrow down thread selection. I need to revisit in the morning.
    • I can't think of anything else right now because I'm tired as hell.

Please leave feedback on the new forums, any bugs or issues you may have and I will do my best to work them all.

    I love the new look!

If I HAD to nit-pick, it would be that it's very scrunched together in the center of my screen. It's using somewhere between 1/3 & 1/2 of my screen. Along with that, the background has black borders to the far left and far right.

I'm in 1920x1080, viewing the site in Firefox.

I just opened the site in IE. While the forums itself are still 'scrunched' in the center of my screen, I no longer see the black borders. The background now covers the whole screen.

These are not issues that will cause me to lose any sleep, but the old layout used the full size of my screen, and would scale down nicely if I made the browser window smaller to have multiple windows open. Now, it's looks good when scaled down, but when full screen, the site dose not expand to make best use of the space provided by a 1920x1080 rez.

Regardless, killer work Ghost! The logo looks killer Doom! And KCK, I love the flair you've added as well!

1920x1200 on Chrome here, no black borders that I can see. I didn't get an alert when Linchpinn replied to this thread, could be just this once.

Edit: Didn't see the alert button, no notification though.
