    SURPRISE! SERVERS DOWN AGAIN!

Let's hope Duty Finder issues are resolved by the time they come back up.

Dude, this release was just as bad as Age of Conan. Not to mention the instance servers and stuff.
All these companies rush into release so they can get ur money and half of the time these games don't even work properly. As players, we're not asking too much, just give us a fucking game that works.
I'm not gonna be subbing to FF, that's for sure.

Too many players, not enough servers cause overloads. They should have done what PS2 did. Get a ton of servers and then as the game population begins to settle and lower to who is going to really play, merge the servers pops and get rid of the old server. It his them in the money but they make enough to do it and it'll keep us all happy. But what am I saying? I'm just a pre-med student so I have no say in the video game market right?

To be properly fair, Planetside had MONTHS of beta before launch and there were more than enough issues during beta...

So did FFXIV. The current issue is just overpop issues and in the PS2 beta, it wasn't that bad

When did you start beta in PS2? We had server instability issues in the beginning until SOE decided to just spam the fuck out of servers. FFXIV's beta tests were targetted, closed until Phase 4, and small. They were testing the Engine, the mechanics, and the client stability, seeing as 1.0 had issues with all of the above. Phase 4 was supposed to be a stress test, and it literally shattered numbers records for a public beta. They're still obviously having issues with pop, and likely new servers are going to be required.

I've played beta from the begining or near the start on my brothers account. And yeah, there were stability issues but they weren't that bad because SOE quickly got new servers and held on to them until the pop began to level out then got rid of them when it became stable. SE needs to get their shit together and do the same. Sadly, Phase 4 shattered records but only tested a few servers rather than letting everyone go onto a server they please thus bringing in more people to play and all the issues happening now would have happened then and the early access players wouldn't be pissed the fuck off that their 72 hours of access is being shrunk rapidly.

Hasn't this game been released in already?
They should rename it to "Realm Deaded"!

Back to War Thunder, too bad I spent $30 on a game that I can't even fucking play.
