I tire of the constant "lets farm at the biolab"
Every time I have logged in over the last week NNG has been @ allatum biolab "farming"
While this may be fun for a few of you to most of us its a 10fps cluster@&^@ where we stand around with our thumbs up our butts.

Even when we do not control any territory and are completly cut off @ the warp-gate its all OH LETS FARM ALLATUM!!!
I'm sick of it, I'm not gonna do it anymore because it is boring as watching paint dry.

I agree, farming is boring but it is the meta game once again for some reason.

SOE "How do I make game?"

I dont like the biolab farming either. I like the fights, I like defending it for a bit but a constant farm is annoying.
I'm at the point where I dont really care much about the certs and just want to have fun but we're in a situation where we cant really win. Its either we farm the biolab where everybody is or we cap emptry bases with very little resistance and complain about not having anything to kill.
This is where the Liberator comes into play :) or a Scythe for that matter.

Well in all fairness, with the liberator and magrider (and most of the other vehicles too for that matter) more or less gimped by both nerfs and the annihilator there isn't much else to do in the game. Might as well just do what I do and play something else until the 2/3 of the game that's missing gets made viable again :3

Sigh, SOE has us in a terrible position ATM.

We are stuck on Indar, which is by far and large soe's experiment continent. Movement tactics have gone far out the window, balance shifts have left us when very little option aside from head-on engagements and above all it's hard as fuck to make a real goal of it all.

It doesn't matter where we fight, nor what we defend. Have a tech plant? good to go do whatever.. The seemingly mindless zerg across continents can't be funneled by the landscape nor facilities owned. Assaulting a base with anything other than mass infantry or trying to use vehicles is not only a waste of time/resources but actually HINDERS your platoons ability to rapidly move across continent. You drive that 35kph sundy with 12 people in it while TE hotdrops behind the base you just left.

The recent balance swings coupled with the current warpgate set-up leave us helplessly handicapped on Indar. I'll be damned if 3 months ago NC didn't have the best place to spawn powerful air zergs, than they get moved to the north gate with it's flat ground PLUS freshly buffed aircraft. Magriders would have been a blast @ our new warp-gate with their old attributes, instead they put VANU on the LOWEST GEOGRAPHIC PART OF THE CONTINENT AND NERF OUR HILL CLIMBING ABILITY TO SHIT WTF!!!!!!! Just in case scat maxes weren't enough problems the heavy assualts following behind them needed the jackhammer buffed too.

As I see it now every major outfit is farming certs. Not in bio labs but as their only end all goal for operations. Covert tactics yield less XP than throwing mountains of munitions at each other. And more often than not, more success as well.

Hang tight you two they have already looked into fixing the Magrider already and the issue of only Biofarming as you say is going to be some part of the game. With the upcoming server mergers (which are supposed to bring about a bigger balance in populations) look for more fights outside of the bio lab.

Unreasonable to kill our MBTs terrain negotiation. We don;t have threads and hover.

Damage nerf was fine, I had to jack my mouse up to even spin my Magrider into a quick 180* turn.

Our MBt always had lower damage it made up for the ability to strafe and agile across rough terrain. Feels more like a bathtub that can hover now.
