    I like where this thread it going! ;) +1

    I do however love to ask my guys from time to time, hey do you want to take this base or this base or you guy want to start fight TR ot NC just to keep things fresh but you can only do that with mature people and I think over time this will get resolved when we have a full platoon of NNG. I also believe that they will add a way to mute certain channels or people as time goes on, right now SOE cares more about getting the game onto as many systems as possible with this switch to CPU over GPU as I get 120+ FPS SLI down to 35 - 55 on CPU switching.

    Also can someone add me to the PS2 Division at their convenience. Thanks :)

    I really wish only squad leaders could hear platoon chat. Hard to concentrate on Squad leader when both channels are going at the same time.

    This is something that needs to get stressed a little more. Now that we are almost always running with 4 squads (sometimes full) there are WAY too many people trying to talk over each other on platoon chat.

    There really is only two reasons anyone should be using that channel.
    1. Important updates (I.E. Enemy armor column to the east of XYZ heading XYZ)
    2. You are a squad leader and you have something to say to other squad leaders / platoon.

    I got to take the wheel and drive Charlie around last night. Was pretty fun. I was jumping between squad chat to tell people where to go and what to do, to platoon chat to coordinate with the platoon leader and other squad leaders.

    There was however a few people that would not shut up on platoon chat despite being told to cut the chatter a few times. One of them was in my squad and it was getting annoying to the point I wanted to kick them. I mean irrelevant or ridiculously obvious chatter to.

    If you have not figured it out yet.
    Key pad #1 = platoon chat
    Key pad #4 = Proximity chat (good for trying to coordinate randoms or asking for something of the randoms. I got some awesome tank gunners by doing this last night).
    Z = Squad chat.
    These are the default key binds.

    So,
    Meh.

    In the spirit of Zero's post I full heartily agree. Platoon chat is not a channel where you complain about being ran over by your own team for example. Platoon chat is for coordination of squad leaders. It's hard to organize a crew when there's a lot of nonsense going on the coordination channel. It's important for that channel to be open so squad leader can speak up and provide sit reps to the platoon lead. Just my 2 cents.
