B2K Launches in 3 Days – How It Affects NNG

The day we've all been waiting for is just over 72 hours away. We'll be reliving those old 1942 and BF2 in-game memories from Wake, Karkand, Gulf and Sharqi in full FrostBite 2.0 glory. Before we get into the juicy's about the expansion itself let's first cover how it will be affecting No Nonsense Gamers.
The Arrangement

• We will only be adding the four new maps to our Server #1. We don't want to split them up and risk frustrating players by only having certain maps available on certain servers.
• As time goes on and we can determine which maps lend themselves to different gameplay style (Air, Infantry, or Armor oriented), we will then consider splitting them off into different server groups. As it stands now our Server #1 consists mostly of large, open-outdoor air, vehicular and infantry belnd. While our Server #2 focuses primarily on gun-play and infantry based maps while blending in fragments of tank and airplay.
• The new B2K maps will adhere to our 1000Ticket standard which should create some truly awesome experiences, especially given some of the new height elements found in the B2K maps (buildings, towers, higher cranes, etc.)

Ok now onto the B2K goods. We all know the gist of what's coming, so consider this a bit of hype beasting to get everyone excited for Dec 13th.

With the introduction of the all-new Assignments, Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand features an added layer of persistence on top of what is in the base game. Complete an Assignment to unlock new weapons and their respective dog tags.

New Awards

Express your individuality with five new dog tags including “Dolphin Diving” and “One Man Army”. Pick the design that showcases your play style best and show it off on the battlefield. Also including new dog tags for each of the weapons included in the expansion.

I am looking forward to this fellas! I'm sure the server will have absolutely no problem being populated on Tuesday, so lets make the best of it as a group!

 

Going to try and not play BF3 this weekend. I will be around, but gonna stay off BF3 until B2K. (I've said this before, lets see how successful I am haha)

During the reboots as a part of the installation of the B2K add-on I will be performing server renaming.
