Attention Gunners

I'm looking to avoid the confusion and make our lives easier.
If you're looking to be a gunner and there is a call for one, please say your name in TS. I know that all of us are super important and your voices should be known in TS but its not the case. I for one, almost always mistake people's voices for whatever reason, I don't know, may be its the fact that there is shit blowing up all over the place and I cant hear it well or may be there is someone telling us about how they got killed and how OP a certain weapon is, but either way, if you decide to gun for someone, please say " (your name) will gun for you ".
That's all it takes.
Or when you're spawning a vehicle and going to need a gunner, say "(your name) is spawning (vehicle) at (exact location)".

IMO if we all follow this one simple rule, it will make things easier for everyone.

Gunners in PS2 are just as important as the pilot/driver, this is one of my favorite things about the game and I personally feel kind of naked when I spawn a vehicle that can use a gunner and I don't have one.

When it comes down to driving and gunning skills, some of us are better than others but we all serve the same purpose and belong to the same group of friends who enjoy playing this game together. At times it can be very frustrating having a gunner or a pilot who are still learning the ropes. There is nothing wrong with that. We can all spend some extra time on helping our buddies get better at that role by sacrificing time and vehicles for a good cause.

If you think that you're not pulling your weight in either one of those roles and want to get better, ask someone who you think is better than you or ask one of the officers who to talk to about bringing those skills to a higher level.

I would rather say squad # than name. Some people have long or unpronounceable names (apparently like mine).

Oh and if you have something with a Saron I'll be more than happy to gun.

 

You got a point, although most names can be shortened to 2-syllable names which still identify the caller very well.

 

Yes. Fuck to the yes! I have had countless seats taken from me while my driver/pilot waits for me because someone else got in it and they thought it was me.

Also, if someone else said they would take the seat before you, DON'T STEAL THAT FUCKING SEAT!

 

Guys, if Im on I am a Perma Gunner for Nraged... there that problem is solved

 

on this note please dont get butt hurt when the driver boots you out of the gunner seat because he was waiting on someone else.

i know i've pissed off a few people doing this (one person, multiple times in one night), as far as I'm concerned the person that has called the seat, changed class , ran to me or respawned to be my gunner gets the seat every time over the random guy (even outfit) that walks by.

 

Oh yeah, this is actually a major issue.

 

I see this thread swiftly degrading to a thread based around gunning for nraged, all I have to say is "Pick me, me love you long time"
