    Hi,

At the moment I got a Solstice SF with all launchers , Pandora, Lasher and a Genesis.
I'm wondering what weapon to get after this.

I like playing Engineer and using my heavy to scare away ESF's.

So i'm wondering if upgrading to an annihilator would be a good investment since the Genesis is also 1K certs. I don't want it to be redundant.

When I'm using my Pandora I often lack the stopping power from medium to long range. I do got the slug upgrade but after the recent patch it seems to be a lot less effective. So I wonder if i'm right about it.

So anyone that has any ideas about what might be a good follow up weapon can toss in their 2 cents. P.S. The next sale for the max im going for dual busters.

(Sorry for spelling or grammatical errors. English isn't my native language)

Have you tested out the Serpent yet? It has an amazing ROF and hits pretty hard, not as hard as the solstice. With the advanced lazer sight for hip fire and a reflex sight, its a pretty amazing weapon. I am unsure how the soft point ammo works since it was broken before I earned my medal. The bigest drawback I had with the Serpent was its reload time is very slow, I recently sswitched to the Solstice SF only because I got my Auraxium medal in the serpent and want to grab more medals...
Also Soft point ammo is for medium to close range fighting, at range its not as efecive.

Your overall best bet is to test them out for yourself and see what you like the most.

I personally use Serpent with Soft-Point Ammo, Laser sight and reflex sight. When I'm not getting low FPS it's a murder machine. Just remember if you have to reload to hide behind something.

as a shotgun engie, i can say without doubt that the pistol is your friend. don't overlook the ability to whip that thing out and spam m1 after you've put a round or two in the bad guy. when you're at any sort of spot where you're in the open, have it out. sure, you probably won't win most headon fights, but softening them up before pulling out the shotty will make things much easier. remember, the beamer has 17 rounds per core. that's nothing to scoff at. which has nothing to do with your question, so i'll shut up now. /wookie

    VX6-7!!!
    + HS/NV scope
    + Advanced Laser Sight
    + Soft Point Ammunition

Probably the best carbine I've ever used in this game. Picked up the auraxium medal in 16 hours with it. The hipfire accuracy is astounding. Although it's not really supposed to be an ADS weapon, it's still easy to control at the very edge of its effective range. I prefer it much more over the Serpent (I could go on for hours about this, but I wont in this thread). If you play light assault a lot, this is THE gun to get.

Lately, I have been using LA with the VX6-7 almost exclusively (No vehicles/other classes) and my experience has been stellar.

If you're still unsure, hopefully these screens will help you decide:

I'm currently certing my VX6-7 and so far it works like a charm. Get it, you'll have a good weapon for both your LA and engi.
As Vonic said, get advanced laser sight and soft point ammo on it, get a scope to your liking. Personally I think the HS/NV is indeed a good option (also had it on my standard Solstice).

Serpent > VX6-7 IMO, learn to save one bullet in the clip and reload before you empty it, never have to worry about a 4 second reload
