A short tank vid

from the WT site:

I'm not entirely sure why that video would make someone want to play a tank, but it's still really cool.

 

Graphics dude, its all about the graphics. I'm not a tank simulator fan, I mean to me Magrider is where its at, but War Thunder is beautiful so I'm pretty sure that the graphics for ground forces will be amazing and for that alone it will be worth checking out.

The entire World of Tanks population will be checking it out as well since its a free game, so there is going to be a huge pop boost.
So far these guys have made flying better than in any other game, I mean its got its ups and downs and some things still need to be changed, but in general its fucking awesome. Since WoT has been around for a while, I'm sure that their goal is going to be to make it better and change some things that people didn't like about WoT.

As for a tank getting bombed in the video, its a Tanker's Day and they're giving exp boost to bombers for ground kills. This is probably their way of seeing how people actually bomb and what the success rate is. Notice how they're giving discounts on bombers?

 

Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing video-though I don't know enough about the whole World of Tanks thing to be able to comment on that portion. I was just (poorly) trying to convey my thoughts that showing a really cool tank sequence immediately followed by one of the tanks getting blown to bits by a bomber before the tank(s?) even fire a shot is probably not the best way-in my opinion- to promote people playing the ground game as opposed to flying in the same game.That is a good point about Tanker's Day, though.

 

I don't know much about WoT but I'm pretty sure that these guys wont make things worse, but yeah, this video wouldn't inspire tankers at all lol

 

BTW That T-34 whould have been soo fucked if that pe-2 hadn't show up XD
A Panther's 88mm long gun vs the crappy and inacurate t-34's 76mm gun
and the Panther has about 127mm of armor and it's sloaped wile the T-34's has about 70mm

But will they be adding mobile AA such as this?

 

if not THAT, something similar. Or I would at least hope so.
