As I am going to be moving in the upcoming weeks and I will no longer be used a bar for housing my computer, I'm wondering if any of you guys or gals could suggest a decent desk for me to use to set up my PC. It doesn't have to be overly complicated just something that has worked for you and you have found to provide enough space for all of your accessories such as monitors, keyboards, ect. Personally I have found this desk on Amazon for around 100$ and it looks decent for what I plan on setting up but I'm open for suggestions.

Grab some timber and a drill, build a big one and you'll be more than happy with the results, even putting one of those roller things on to hide your keyboard and mousepad, it'll wind up looking badass, and cost less I reckon.

It's usually better to build your own in you have the funds because you get exactly what you want/need. For desks, don't look up "gaming desk" that get you jipped out of your money big time. If you would prefer to just buy one I'd say go to Walmart or some store like it, with shipping and whatnot it isn't really worth it to buy one online unless you can't find one in a store because they'll all be wobbly or dented unless you throw a really really pretty penny.

I got really tired of the little flimsy desks you get at Walmart or Office Depot, hell i kicked the side out of one stumbling around at night going to the restroom. I found a second hand store here in Memphis that buys up Furniture when businesses goes under in bulk and then resales it. You get top quality stuff for a fraction of the price. May seem a little nuts but I bought one of those huge ass 70s Metal desks for like $25. It's a beast to move around but it will probably out last me, has tons of room on and in it, plus it was dirt cheap.

this isn't mine but close... mine has a wood top.

that tabletop alone is the cost of a desk. I don't know what your space/material/lifting ability constraints are, but you may be better off looking through craigslist or getting on a county auction for old office furniture. My dad got a really nice wood desk for like $20 this way.

I've been looking through Craigslist and it's difficult finding something that fits the image I have in my mind. Also a lot of the stuff is in bad condition.

yeah, that's always the problem with dealing with pubbies (christ, did I just call them that?)
They always ruin a good thing.

Yeah, you may be better off getting something new. The one you listed in the OP was nice, but it looked a little flimsy.

I had a glass desk before as well and it's a pain in the ass to keep clean. Especially if you have a drink or food near it.

Here are a couple I was considering

I have the desk you linked. It's actually worked out very well for me.

Pros: elevated monitor - speaker racks - wire and keyboard racks - Stable but still fairly lightweight - CUPHOLDER!!!

Cons: Only designed for one monitor - Surfacing on the desk fucks up laser/optical mice without mousepad - plenty of assembly required.

    Otherwise I love it!

Let's say I didn't care about all the extra holders as I use headphones and I didn't want to attach the monitor stand just the legs and table surface. Would I be able to put a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and the possibly the tower of my PC on the desk instead of putting my tower on the floor?
