    I'm on Cactuar.

    Seriously psyched for this. Played in all 3 beta phases, and was a huge FFXI fan (Played 5 years of it before hitting 75 on all my jobs and quitting). I REALLY REALLY like the premise behind this, but can't help but feel I missed a TON of backstory by not playing 1.0 or 1.23.

    I've already redone my character for the incoming Open Beta. Aug 8th you're saying? Confirmed, or just highly likely? If not confirmed, what makes you think the 8th?

    If there is a prepaid card option then I'd gladly play it but if they do that forced recurring payment shit on my card hell to the fucking no.

    You could pay for the month than cancel the recurring. That's what I do for my planetside 2 membership.

    Or maybe they'll let you do packages, just like ps2.

    I got no legacy character. Do you just play on the legacy server like it was a regular server?

    The only thing confirmed for Aug 8th is the producer live letter. Which also tipically match an event. If the open beta doesnt start on that day, the final dates will be anounced on thursday at least.

    They're not moving to a legacy server. I'm not certain where we're going though, I think it's been decided on Gilgamesh but I don't know.
