Here is my rig with the associated peripherals.

Pretty much everything was purchased on sale which is why its sitting there. I figure out what I want, then look for the best price I can get it for. Good example is the mouse. The regular G9x mouse was not on sale but the MW3 version was on for a smoking deal.

Sorry I just re-read your initial post and you asked why we thought our gaming peripherals were good, etc.

Obutto Cockpit - Rock solid construction, I can leave the racing setup intact and play FPS with no issues. Triple monitor mount is also rock solid.

G9x Mouse - I trust Logitech products and I have different profiles saved that start when I start a particular game. I like the weight system in it and its been very accurate and comfortable.

Azio Backlit Keyboard - Its simple, backlit and has oversize lettering.

Fanatec GT3RS - Only applicable to racing so I won't delve into it here.

Creative Labs Sigma 3D - Comfortable wired headset, saved profiles for game types. Great surround sound, and sound differentiation. Amazing bass for a headset.

Logitech G13 Gamepad - Perfect layout for keys for playing FPS games. I don't have to be reaching all over a normal keyboard. I have every single key I want within reach. Super comfortable to use and I have it set up for all my games.

Asus IPS Panels - Amazing color reproduction make games just pop. I am also a big fan of Asus products in general (M/B, GPU's, etc).

Logitech Z506 Speakers - Again I trust Logitech products and the price was right for this surround setup. It sounds amazing when playing any games.

Comfy Seating - Cheering section must be totally at peace while they sleep and offer me silent support. Chair and footstool provide that extra level of coziness for the felines!

    Cheers!
