Server issues thread

It gets files from the server that we play minecraft on. If the server is offline you will not get those files.

 

Server is back up. Apparently there was a scheduled power outage this morning. Might take up to 10 minutes for the new domain record to propagate, as we probably got a new external IP.

 

Crash log, keep crashing going west of tal's tower. Only way i can log in is by putting draw distance down then moving away from this area, then i have no problem raising draw distance again.

looks like there is something going on with redpower. clear your cache and see if that helps

 

That's the same error that Ket ( I think) was crashing with, and around the same area. I'll have to remember the render distance trick... but I'm afraid it might just be a bug in Redpower... though I haven't found any other reports of it yet .

Edit: scrounged up a few reports, but they are mostly years old. Maybe next time Dark's on I'll see what she's got going on - apparently frames can cause some stuff to get into illegal states, so that's one thing to look into.

 

can we not create myst craft ages now? World gen stuff right? and did you disable the recipie?

server needs to be reset, mob spawns are broken. Can you try to add the latest ars magica, it has been updated a couple times since we last tried. Maybe chunk gen will work then, who knows, worth a try I suppose.

 

Just letting y'all know if you didn't see my post in the other thread. We updated some of the mods, and inscription tables are fixed, and it appears that it's safe to explore new chunks, too! That should make it a lot more playable for y'all.
