Elder Scrolls Online

I am personally all against playing the Beta. Biggest problem I have is that if I do fall in love with game, I will be sitting there for the next few months waiting for the release and burn myself out. Not to mention that the withdrawals I'd be having in between the end of beta and a retail release. I played PS2 in the beta a lot but its a totally different animal. Sine its an FPS, I play it for fun and not for progression.
I just enjoy shooting people.
Anyways, I would love to see some ""hidden" gameplay videos of ESO just to pretty much have an idea of what the gamplay is like as well as the world and stuff like that.
The game looks very interesting and after watching the interviews of the devs talk about the game, I think that its got a great potential aso we'll see how it plays out.

 

I also signed up for the beta. I do agree with the burning oneself out on a beta, but I do like the idea of being able to get a feel for the gameplay before having to make the decision of buying the game and not liking it. I like the Open Beta idea that some have had shortly before game release. Gives you a taste, before the final product.

Side note - I hope ESO stays true to the Elder Scrolls theme of having so much today besides the main story line. The rush to lvl cap and progression raids is what has killed alot of games for me. I hate that MMOs now have PVP, and raids, and everyone is at max lvl rolling alts in 1 month.

 

I signed up for it but other than giving it a bit of a go I don't plan on really getting into it until the game is fully released, I don't want to go through the mad balance issues of a beta.

 

Hvae any of you been chosen for the Beta?
I havnt signed up at all simply because if I get hooked on it, I will be going through withdrwals until its released so I'll just wait and watch videos.

I dunno all I can see is the game being a lot like WoW only less cartoony.
I played the shit out of Skyrim on the X-box when I had my knee surgery, and I thought what it would be like to have it on-line with the little kids swinging at each other, waiting for the quest lines to reset, kill stealers, hell even questline theives. I'm interested to see how it works, I just dont see it working

 

DAMN IT. I just went to my e-mails and saw one entitled Elder Scrolls Online and it was a response to this thread! My hopes and dreams! Crushed!

My friend, who you guys may know, Haxardus has Beta access to ESO. it has not stated yet but when it does there was discussion of starting an ESO spot in NNG. Keep your panties on for now though cuz the game isn't coming out for at least a few months.

 

You can't tell me what to do with my panties Jaam. This is a free country.
