Did you take domain leasing into account also? I think that is an annual fee?

Edit: As well as system specs and capacity in hardware and internet connection

I am a sysadmin, of course I looked at the specs. :) To be honest we don't need a huge server for a website and teamspeak, just a ton of bandwidth. The server I'm looking at includes 6TB of monthly bandwidth, and free DDoS protection :)

Domain name registration is a yearly cost, but it's pretty cheap, .com's go for about $15/yr, and I have free DNS hosting through he.net.

Yeah Ice, I was thinking, how many Clients are we paying for on TS and how many do we really use?
Also I am assuming Ghost meant $60 every 6 months for TS, so $10/mo. I think we can collectively scrounge that much a month especially if you can work you sysadmin black magic and get us cheaper rates. It seems like if every active user here donates $1 a month we can more than cover the operating costs. Hell, even with my limited budget I can throw in a buck a month, maybe even *gasp* five! :P

Well we actually qualify for free TS licensing up to 512 slots, we just need a server with enough bandwidth to push it.

No, the server I'm looking at would be more than capable.

If the teamspeak and the website are hosted on the same server, won't both go down at the same time? I thought one of the reasons why TS was hosted on a different server was so that we wouldn't lose both at the same time?

Seriously, thank you for creating this community, thank you for taking time out of your life to ensure its success, thank you for using your own hard earned money to keep the community assets going, thank you for being the guiding light that kept this community on the right path, and all of this almost completely without a single plea of help to, or assistance from, the rest of us (At least since I've been here, not including the recent incident almost a year ago, I think, my memory isn't very good.) Anyways, I will gladly take up the reigns with rest of the community and help NNG prosper as a community and group of friends who just want to play games without the bullshit or nonsense found in other groups.

Goodbye Ghost, enjoy what comes next in your life and don't forget about this awesome community you have forged and visit sometime. Even though I've never talked to or played with you, and I can't really say I'll miss you because I don't really know you.. It is a little gut wrenching to see the founder of this community take his leave from us.
Have fun, and don't take no shit from anyone.
