Anyone else get into the closed Alpha? I'm pretty psyched. I have high hopes and they had better not be disappointed.

I'd hate to bring this up but isnt this game made by the same people who made Battlefield 4? :) :) :) :) :)

@Nraged yes it is. However BF4 was rushed hard core. They've been working on battlefront for (publicly known 3+ years) AND DICE are good devs! it's EA that makes them look bad :(

A "Battlefront Battlefield" has been my dream since Bad Company 1 (7+ years!!!!). In fact, it's partly why I became a game developer, to eventually one day go do DICE and pitch them the idea. So I'm totally absolutely playing the hipster card on this game. However I didn't get into the closed alpha :(:(:(:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: and it is literally, but mostly figuratively, killing my soul.

So far I've read nothing but positive things about the game but trying to resist the hytpetrain as much as I can.

I am looking forward to the game as well and hoping that they will do a fine job with this one, since its been in developement for so long. Dont punish yourself for not getting into Alpha, you will have plenty of time to burn yourself out once its actually released.

I was staying cold and distant as long as I could, but the newest gameplay vid's look pretty great. Those of us who get in can keep up a running tally of faults and wins. I have higher hopes for this than the last Alpha I played (Rainbow Six Siege kinda...sucked in my opinion. Over-reliance on gadgets and gizmos).

That's rainbow six though. It's always been about the "staging" aspect of combat. Isolate threats, information before entry, utilize acquired intel to operate effectively and quickly within your AO, and ultimately and finally, neutralize all threats.

I love the six series though. I love how siege looks. Haven't played it yet though. And with those games it really is on how it "feels" that makes them good.

I agree, I love the tactical aspect of Rainbow Six. i just felt that the latest one put too much emphasis on modifying and manipulating the environment instead of 'working with whatcha got". But to each his own.

Seriously awesome game. I need to go back and play some more...

Honestly the graphics are sharp (which I didn't expect in an Alpha); the game play itself is bf4esque but diffidently something entirely different as well.
