First week, thank you for showing up. I was pleased by the turnout.

Here are a couple of things I noticed and that we can work on in the coming weeks.
    - Point defences, while we did get outpopped most of the time there are things that I was asking for people to do that no one did. Engie turrets, medics and maxes on a point has been PROVEN to hold a point even with superior numbers. I will be making the playbook and calling these plays when it's ready.

    - While I was happy with the redeploys to bases, I felt I was just shuttling people to go somewhere new to do whatever they wanted.
We're a team, a squad. Do things together for maximum efficiency. Ex: I asked people to pull armor, it was my fault to not tell people to wait for everyone before we went. But going off on your own completely invalidates the whole idea.

    - Lack of fun: I have fun when we're doing well. NC was a huge pain in our asses tonight, they threw all the big names at us. TIW, BAX, etc. I don't remember us having problems with them as much as we did tonight in the past. I focused too much on winning and throwing us at brick walls that just continued to frustrate me and as I could tell from the silence in the last half hour, other people.

Alerts are parts of the game too, it gives focus to the masses. It's worth a lot and it's guaranteed big fights. I'm feeling we would have more fun not participating in alerts until we have full platoon numbers. Which I am planning on opening up squads to pubbies eventually. A barely full squad isn't cutting it for when it counts.

Come at me with any thoughts or complaints, I want to be a great lead. But it's stressful and I won't stop doing it if I think it's ok.

Now that I'm done being depressing, here are some good things.
    - Xiander, your gal is still the best on the server. Thank you for your stellar cooperation in ferrying us to our dooms.
    - Icebalm you were there at every fight, we were usually on the same page the entire time.
    - Titus, sotet, iolar, blarg, tech. I was rezzed a lot by you guys, especially blarg. Thank you for being a medic.
    - Marx, I'm glad you're with us. You have great enthusiasm and are welcome fresh blood.
    - Mustarde, thank you for popping in. It means a lot to me to have you here.
    - Prosk, sorry we all bailed on you
    - Nazrin, we'll get you better internet someday.
(We had a couple of people pop in and out, hopefully we can keep the numbers growing week after week. If I missed you, don't take it the wrong way. I'm going purely by memory)

I was speaking with blarg and he let me know a very important thing. I didn't realize that we didn't want to be super serious. I personally went too hard. I'll remember that when we do this again. I know a lot of people are all burnt out from the seriousness from the jaam era.

    Let's try again next weekend.

I wouldn't say yet that we shouldn't do alerts. I'm not sure if the planetside community is active enough at the moment for there to be good size fights to challenge us if an alert is on and we don't take part.

We might just aim at some of the smaller fights in an alert where we can make a bigger difference until we have multiple squads up.

I wasn't medic tonight. I mostly mained engi for the night with some heavy assault thrown in. I was trying to put down ammo as best I could. I used the turret a few times to assist pushes or defend for a bit. I could work on both of these but this was my first night sticking with the class. I usually main medic so I assume that's why you thought I might have rezzed you.

I tried to respond to engi call outs as I heard them but I'm fairly new to the class so was slow on some and mightn't have heard others.

Our pushing was quite good I felt as we all seemed to have an idea of what we wanted to do but we weren't pushing as one group as much as we could have maybe.

Overall I felt tonight went well and with a little more practice we will be clicking together very well. Considering the break some of us took from playing together let alone from planetside itself, we were quite effective.

while things were heavy when jaam was in charge, you might want to look at the things that they did right such as the cohesion that we had and our quick response times to whatever was needed

I think these points are pretty spot on. I only played during the alert, but for the most part it was a lot of fun. Screwing over the TR by holding eisa southern was pretty funny, and then it was a cool fight forcing the AOD drop out of Waterson's Redemption. I did notice though that when we were trying to push them out we really weren't focusing on a specific point. We had some people going for A/B, while 6 or 7 were going for point C. Having that tight cohesion and communication can make a squad feel like two, especially when we're fighting against AOD. I can't speak for what happened after the alert, but I definitely feel that during the alert it was roughly the right amount of competitiveness/ seriousness.
