?

Should we have one main 'Games' forum section, with sub forums for each game?

    My thoughts on the matter
    1. Make 2 Public forums, one for people to chat with non NNG members publicly, people may come here with questions or just to say hi.
The other one is obviously for recruitment posts.

    The rest are private forums,
first one being a members section where we chat, post stuff, put our announcements ect ect.
the rest are for games we currently play, PS2, Minecraft, MWO, Battlefield ect ect. As we lost interest in games Ghost can clean up the forums and archive old posts pertaining to the shut down forum. This would do away with the divisions altogether, and everyone would be just NNG members, and with our current admins (ghost, Highlander, virus and anyone else I left out) we should be fine in the ways of moderation.
If issues arise report it to a moderator and they will take care of it.

    Thoughts?

So MWO gets a subforum this weekend? sweeeeet!

I am a big fan of simple. I also like Ajax's idea of a place where non NNG people can pop in. I just dont know how this would work on an operational back end standpoint and I assume it would have to be heavily moderated. Are there different levels of membership you can assign to users? So registered NNG people are sitting at a higher level than new users? A public section would be nice just for the fact that anyone can make a username, log in and interact with us to get a feel on how NNG operates compared to other gaming guilds. Or a place where people waiting for their application to be cleared can go and post. Kind of like a waiting room.

That's how the forums work now. Until you're acceptrn into NNG, you can't view certain forums like the MO. But at the same time, if we want to get to be just about gong and no stats or competitive stuff, we should just have everything open and out on the table for everyone to see.

I for one could give two shits less about stats or competitive gaming. So having everything wide open is fine with me. Then again I am just a peon here.

So the forum would essentially flow something like this?:

    Games
    --Game A
    --Game B
    --Game C
    ----Game C Sub A
    ----Game C Sub B
    --Game D
    ----Game D Sub A
    --Game E

    And so on.

The subs would be stuff like PS2 Media, tactics, state of division (soon to be a phased out word?)

    Very much like that Zero..

    Public
    --- Public forum
    --- Recruiting

    Private for NNG Members

    -- Recruit discussion forum
    -- Members forum

    -- Game A (Battlefield 4)
    -- Game B (MechWarrios)
    -- Game C (Planetside 2)
    |__ Game C sub forum (media and tactics)
    -- Game D (War Thunder
    |__ Game D sub forum (media and tactics)

Ultimately something like this would be nice.
Its neat, easy to maintain and the divisions between all of us would be gone.
I'm a member of NNG, not a member of PS2 and War Thunder.
