    Hello all!

As you know we at NNG like to switch it up every once and a while and spend a week or two helping the underpopulated faction on the server. We have good fun, and even though we start out certless, we start to learn the factions strengths and weaknesses, which can easily and equally translate over to the competitive practice side of things. If you don't want to participate in these "faction weeks" your refusal will be duly noted, and we will remember who participated and who didn't.

Sometimes these weeks aren't just because we're bored on VS, but rather our whole server is starting to have serious problems keeping one faction populated. We do these "faction weeks" for the betterment of our server, so everyone on it can have fun and enjoy the game. So if you couldn't care less about the other factions pop and you don't care if our server falls apart, than at least help us on these "faction weeks" for the competitive practice scene.

So, With that said and aside, I present to you the weapon equivalents for each faction! (Nanite Systems Weapons are Excluded)
(disclaimer: These are equivalent weapons based on SOEs distribution process. I.e. T9 Carv is equal to Orion is equal to Gauss Saw)

New Conglomerate < Vanu Sovereignty > Terran Republic
(the max damage of the weapon has been included for reference purposes)

If you see a weapon not labeling its max damage and you know the max damage, let me know, and I will update it.
If you see a weapon missing, let me know, and I will update it.
If you see a category missing, let me know, and I will update it.

As Weapons are added this chart will be updated.

    Happy Hunting!!

This was left on our SOE Recruitment page by a fellow visitor:

"Sorry if this seems weird/invasive/random but...
I checked out your forums out of pure boredom and saw a recent thread here:
    http://www.nononsensegamers.com/forums/threads/planetside-2-faction-weapon-equivalents.4376/

Most of the guns are pretty spot on, but I have an issue with the LMGs
For the first Short-Mid range category I think it should be relabeled to "Variety of Attachments" or something along the lines and have the T16 taken out of that list and add the T9-CarvS
For the Second Short-Mid Range category the EM1,Polaris, and Buill should be added as they are the low recoil 143/652 rpm weapon models.
For the short range category it should be Anchor/Pulsar/MSW-R
The Long Range category is a bit iffy, I wouldn't recommend any LMG to be used pass 100 meters tbh, but the GD22S,Ursa and Rhino can be in the list, as they are also low recoil weapons that can perform well at such a range.

Sorry, again for my snooping, just want to help you guys out if you want it.

Also the guy who made the list didn't include pellet count for NC max's
    Scatter Cannon 130x6
    Grinder 130x6
    Hacksaw 125x6
    Mattock 112x6

    categories are correct."

What about the Syrius (VS weapon)? What is the NC/TR equivalent?

Hailstorm for TR and Blitz for NC.

Best to ask a member about equivalency rather than just using this honestly :)

He is right. While this chart is representative of the statistical equivalents, it's really only super good if you're an excel spreadsheet nerd like me. And even then someone who uses an equivalent weapon more than I, would have a better interpretation of which gun is good at what compared to their statistical twin.

Those who use the weapon most, will be able to guide you better than this chart.

This is really just for information.

So, lately I fell in love with the Serpent.

Now I know according to spreadsheet, the NC equivalent is the Razer and the TR is the Jaguar.

Can you expect the same performance if you use their equivalent? I'm rather picky about what certs to spend after all.

No they operate super differently. The jaguar is decently similar but i would recommend the Lynx and GD-7F over the jag and razor
