Whats your price range for a rig? And personally, for fighting and exploring, I'd go Origin 325A

I think you should reconsider your choice of processor.

Star Citizen will be using the Mantle system so an AMD build will work better because Mantle is an AMD product.

If you want to go Exploration/Raider the Cutlass is nice. It has a decent cargo hold and guns, also it can be easily upgraded to have more of both. Think of it as a German Corvette/Raider boat from WWII .

Far as your system goes both fanboi processors and video card types will work well. No one is insane enough to build a game that doesn't . Choose what you like and go with it. Personallly I like the I7/Nvid combo but that's just me.

Anymore questions just post or hit me up with a pm.......

We actually don't know anything about mantle, it could perform just as well as DX or OpenGL does, mantle currently is vaporware.

Anyways, you can have an AMD GPU without using an AMD CPU.

Mantle is coded directly to the cards rather than another program like directX so there is no middle man in the way. It is better to use an nVidia/Intel or AMD/AMD because they work better in tandem with eachother, especially AMD/AMD seeing as they are mad by the same company.

The "middle man" is mantle, it's an API, the only difference is that it's made by the same company as the card is. It's 3dfx glide all over again, and until we actually have it, and some software that uses it, speculating on it is not terribly useful.

This is false. There is no benefit, compatibility or performance wise, to using an AMD CPU with an AMD GPU.
