    I watched an Arma 3 stream and I dont want to bash the game but TBH it didnt really look like all that. Lots of open spaces and lots of running around. It did look realistic tho and the sounds for gunshots were exactly identical to the real thing.

    Can anyone tell me about this game as I am unclear of the aspect of this game as I have read what you all of said but what sets it apart from its counter parts ie BF3, COD, etc....

    Its a milsim before its a shooter. Highly realistic in terms of gunplay. Very slow and mechanical feeling in terms of vibe. Its not a pick up and play game. You're talking two hour missions, 1000 meter engagements, dying without having any idea where your enemies are and extremely long respawn times. Sometimes as much as 10 minutes.man

    Expect to be , confused and constantly dying if you've never played Arma before. :)
