Server issues thread

Yeah, I'm gonna edit the pictures into the info thread.

Try... in the "options" dialog, hit the "clear cache" button, double check that the URL for the custom zip is right, and then try logging in again. Clearing the cache will force it to download tekkit and the mods again.

Edit: I gotta run, but I should be able to reply on my phone if that doesn't work

 

Problem fixed, after attempting to clear the cashe a few times it worked! Thanks for the help

Server needs to be restarted mobs are not spawning again for some reason..
Also The axe's from twilight forest need to be added to the treecapitator config file
Ironwood axe
Steeleaf axe

 

Both issues should be fixed now.

I don't know what happened but something crashed the server, hard. Judging from the logs it looks like it was either Ars Magica, Mystcraft, or both but I don't know for sure.

 

I was playing around with mystcraft last night so it was probably me

From the crash logs, it looks like some of our other mods are trying to influence world generation in Mystcraft ages, and are failing none-too-gracefully. Last night it was ARS Magica, just now it was Redpower. That's a pretty nasty bug, and we don't really know what to do about it. Possibly disabling Mystcraft altogether, but for now at least we're disabling the Age book and writing desk so no one can use the (seemingly unstable) extra dimensions...

E: I take it you're currently in a Mystcraft age, Tal? From the log it looks like you logged in and the server immediately crashed. We might have to delete your player.dat file so you can return to the overworld, if you're stranded.

 

try deleteing the age
you can del 2-6 and 8+
7 is twilight forest

If it crash's again go ahead and delete my char file
Its gonna suck but ill live with it

 

We'll try removing those ages. I just read something about disabling Skylands and Cave Worlds to eliminate the conflict with Redpower. That might be enough, we'll have to try it and see!
